 Jamey DuBose 

Coach Jamey DuBose graduated from Opp High School in 1988. He earned a Bachelors degree in Physical Education from Troy University in 1994.

In 2002 he accepted the head coaching position at Susan Moore where his two teams finished 10-11. In 2008 he took over the football program at Prattville when Bill Clark took off for the college ranks.

Over the next four years he led the Lions to a pair of state championships in Alabamas highest classification. His four year record at Prattville was 45-10. In 2012 he moved to Florence for a couple of seasons before landing at Central Phenix City in 2014. Each of his squads won a region championship.

He led the Red Devils to a 66-11 record and 14-5 in the playoffs in six seasons. His 2018 team finished a perfect 14-0 winning the class 7A state championship over Thompson 52-7.

In 2020, Coach DuBose retired from coaching in the State of Alabama, and moved to Lowndes High School in Valdosta, Ga where he went 20-5 with appearances in the semi-final and quarter-final games of the playoffs.

Coach DuBose returned to the State of Alabama to coach at Orange Beach High School. In his first season the Makos were 8-3. He stepped down at Orange Beach following the 2023 football season and accepted the head coaching job at Biloxi MS.

In his 18 year Head Coaching Career, Coach DuBose holds a 165-48 record as well as a 36-13 record in the playoffs.
