Josh Floyd
Floyd played college football at Ouachita Baptist University. Before that, he set two national records as a quarterback at Shiloh Christian High School in Arkansas, leading them to the schools first state championship.
In 2004 he took over the head coaching duties at Shiloh Christian for the next ten seasons. His teams finished a combined 99-29 and won four state championships in 2006, 2008, 2009 and 2010. The 2006 squad went a perfect 14-0. His playoff record in Arkansas is 27-5.
In 2014 Coach Floyd accepted the head coaching job at Hewitt-Trussville. Since that time he has built the program into a contended not only for region championships but at the state level too.
All but one of his teams in Trussville have qualified for the playoffs and won region titles in 2016 and 2017.

Luverne 'Toad' Wise was the first female football player in Alabama and may have been the first in the country. She was a kicker for the Escambia County Blue Devils in 1939-40.
