 Keith Etheredge

Keith Etheredge attended Leeds High School and Jacksonville State University before beginning his coaching career as an assistant basketball coach at Erwin High School in Birmingham.

After just one year there, he became the head basketball coach for three years before returning to Leeds in 2004 as an assistant football coach.

In 2006, he became the Green Wave's head football coach. His 2008 team finished 15-0 and won the Class 3A state championship. The 2010 team also went 15-0 and won a second title.

The 2014 Leeds team won their third title with a convincing 30-0 win over Deshler and finished with a 14-1 record.

Their fourth championship came in 2015 when Leeds ran over teams in the playoffs to finish 13-2 culminating with a 55-7 victory over Fayette County in Tuscaloosa.

Through the 2015 season his teams at Leeds went 107-34 and 33-8 in the playoffs. Each squad reached at least the third round of the playoffs. In 2016, he jumped over to Pell City where his two teams finished with identical 6-5 records.

In 2018 Coach Etheredge moved on to T.R. Miller where he assumed the head coaching duties before jumping to Oxford the following season. He would move on to Auburn as the head football coach in 2021.
