Larry Morris
Larry Morris graduated from Scottsboro High School.
Coach Morris became the head football coach at his alma mater in the fall of 1991. He is the only coach ever at Scottsboro to graduate from and coach the Wildcats. Over the next 14 years his teams went a combined 90-66.
The 1995 squad finished 11-0 after an undefeated 10-0 regular season. The 1996 team repeated the feat with a 9-0 regular season and another 11-1 finish.
In 2001, Coach Morris served on the staff of the Alabama All-Star game. Morris resigned following the 2004 season to become the athletic director at Scottsboro. He was named the Athletic Director of the year in the AHSAA in 2013. Morris retire from that position in 2013.

The first night game played between high school teams in the state occurred on September 23, 1927 when Pike Road and Cloverdale met in the Cramton Bowl in Montgomery.
