Michael Robertson
Michael Robertson is a graduate of Hokes Bluff High School near Gadsden, Alabama. He received his degree from Athens State.
Robertson landed his first head coaching job at Hokes Bluff in 1996. Over the past 27 seasons his teams have compiled a 174-127 record with 15 playoff appearances.
His Eagles finished the 2001 season with a 13-2 record and the Class 3A State Championship. They defeated Tarrant 23-0 at Legion Field in Birmingham for the title.
Coach Robertson was named as the 3A Coach of the Year by the Alabama Sports Writers Association in 2001.
