Ralph Bell
Ralph Bell attended Livingston University but received his degree from Jacksonville State in 1959. He became an assistant football coach at Saks High School that fall.
Bell became the head football coach at Munford in the fall of 1964. Over the next three seasons his teams finished a combined 22-7-1. The 1966 team went 9-0-1.
He accepted the head coaching job at Shelby County High School in 1967 where re stayed for the next eight years. In 1975, Bell moved to Ashville for six seasons as the head football coach. His 1976 squad finished 9-1 but failed to make the playoffs after a loss to Hokes Bluff.
His overall record in 17 years as a head coach is 99-63-7.

Great Moments in Alabama High School Football History
Thomasville scored 54 points against Gulf Shores in the first quarter of a game in 2003. They managed to hang on for an 81-14 win.
