Randy Ragsdale
Randy Ragsdale, a native of Rockdale, Georgia played football at Jacksonville State between 1976-78. He became the head coach of the Trinity Presbyterian Academy Wildcats in 1989.
Since that first season his teams have compiled a record of 242-86, won eleven region titles and a state championship in 2003.
His 2003 team defeated Deshler 24-14 for the title. The Wildcats completed the season with a 15-0 slate and remains the only undefeated team in Trinity football history. For four seasons from 2000-05 his teams won forty-five consecutive regular season games.
The Wildcats have qualified for the football playoffs in all but three of his twenty-eight seasons. The Wildcats reeled off a record thirty-two consecutive winning seasons streak before falling to 5-6 in 2014. His overall region record stands at 116-23 which is among the best of any coach ever in the state.
Ragsdale was named Coach of the Year by the Alabama Sports Writer in 2003.
