Roland Jones Jr.
A Brantley alumnus himself, Roland Jones Jr. graduated in 1986. After receiving a golf scholarship, he attended Lurleen B. Wallace Community College and later transferred to Troy University where he played on the golf team for two years.
He returned to Brantley and joined the football coaching staff in 1990, serving as the offensive coordinator under his father. He also was an assistant coach at Ariton before taking over the football program at Crenshaw Christian Academy in 2003.
His teams at Crenshaw Christian finished 83-30 in ten seasons and qualified for the playoffs eight times.
In 2018 he returned to Brantley as the head football coach where his coaching success continues.

The first night game played between high school teams in the state occurred on September 23, 1927 when Pike Road and Cloverdale met in the Cramton Bowl in Montgomery.
