Scott Martin
Scott Martin began his head coaching career at Ponchatoula, La. high school in 1990 for five seasons. In 1995 he moved over to Destreham, La. for another five seasons with four playoff appearances and a 37-20 record.
From there he spent one season at Neville High and another at Rayville in Louisiana before4 returning to Ponchatoula for another five seasons. After seventeen seasons in Louisiana his teams finished a combined 81-96.
In 2008 Coach Martin accepted the head coaching job at Calera for a couple of seasons where his teams went 14-8. His next stop was at Hillcrest Tuscaloosa for two more seasons and a record of 12-10.
In 2014 he moved on to Ohatchee for seven seasons. His first team went 1-9 but he continued to build the football program and his last five squads all qualified for the playoffs and won region championships in 2018 and 2019. Both those teams finished the regular season with perfect 10-0 records.
Coach Martin left Ohatchee during the 2021 football season and landed at Glencoe to start the 2022 season.
