Steven Kilcrease
Kilcrease, a 1994 graduate of Pike Liberal Arts School in Troy, was an assistant football coach and head boys basketball coach at Lee-Scott from 2001-2006, teaching chemistry while serving as assistant football coach.
Coach Kilcrease guided the Pike Liberal Arts athletic program for five years as the athletic director and head football coach between 2007-2011. In 2012 he accepted a position at Lee-Scott Academy in Auburn.
His teams at Pike finished 42-16 and won two consecutive state championships in 2008 and 2009. His record there was 42-16 in five seasons.
In Kilcreases time at Pike Liberal Arts the Patriots won championships in golf in 2009 and 2011 and baseball also won a title in 2012. The baseball team played in the AISA State Championship Series in 2010 and 2011.
In 2016 Coach Kilcrease accepted the head coaching job at Ariton where he led the Purple Cats to the playoffs his first eight seasons leading the football program.

Morris Higginbotham coached three different teams to divisional state championships in the 1950s. He won titles at Walnut Grove in 1952, West Blocton in 1955 and Enterprise in 1960.
