Everything came together for Coach Curry and the Warriors in 2009 when they won the Class 4A State Championship in Tuscaloosa with a 31-27 victory over Jackson High School.
In 23 years as a head coach, Curry's teams combined for a 171-101 record and a 28-15 playoff record. His teams have won eight region titles.
