Willie Peake
Willie Peake served as an assistant football coach at Phillips High School in Birmingham during the 1971 and 1972 seasons. The next season he took over the football program at Carver High School in Birmingham.
Peake remained as the coach of the Rams for the next twenty-five season before the school closed following the 1997 season. His overall record with the Rams was 97-151. Peakes 1981 team finished 11-3 before losing to Northview High School from Dothan 7-6 at Legion Field in Birmingham.
Coach Peake returned to Phillips in 1998 as an a assistant football after the closing of Carver High.

Great Moments in Alabama High School Football History
Parrish scored a record 77 points in a playoff game against Cedar Bluff in 2001. The Tornados were shutout the following week 19-0 by Courtland.
