After only one season at Ariton, Floyd Graham resigned as the head football coach. His only team with the Purple Cats finished with a 1-9 record. |
Joshua Herring returns to the Purple Cats in 2015 as the head football coach. He is the fourth head coach in the last five years at Ariton. Herring, a 1993 graduate at the school, was the head football coach in 2001-02 with a 6-15 record. Last year he led the Ariton junior high football program. Herring played baseball at Wallace College and attended Troy prior to returning to Ariton in 1999 to begin his teaching and coaching career. |
