Mike Dean was relieved of his coaching duties prior to the final game of the season. In his only season with the Vikings, his team went 3-6 under his direction. Tim Hardegree coached the last game of the season. |

Morris Higginbotham coached three different teams to divisional state championships in the 1950s. He won titles at Walnut Grove in 1952, West Blocton in 1955 and Enterprise in 1960.
