2014-15 Football Coaching Changes

 2014 Coach: Mike Montgomery.
 2015 Coach: Mark Freeman

 

Mike Montgomery was let go following the 2014 season. His three teams went 7-23 with the last finishing a disappointing 0-10. None of his teams were able to reach the playoffs.

Mark Freeman returns to the Birmingham area after stints at Spanish Fort and Gulf Shores the past six seasons. Freeman was very successful as the head football coach at Bessemer Academy winning four state championships in the A.I.S.A. with an overall record of 101-21 in ten seasons between 1998-2007.

He was the head coach at Gulf Shores in 2009-10 with a two year record of 13-9. In 2011 he took over the football program at Spanish Fort and led the Toros to a pair of State Championships and a 50-7 record in four seasons.
