After only two seasons, Roger Haynes leaves Sylvania with an 8-13 record. Both squads finished the regular season with identical 4-6 records with the last losing in the first round of the playoffs.

Matt Putnam resigned his position at Hazel Green in January to accept the head football job at Sylvania. In five seasons at Hazel Green his teams went 26-25 only reaching the playoffs in 2011 with a 7-4 record.
