2014-15 Football Coaching Changes

 2014 Coach: Tom Causey
 2015 Coach: Stacy Luker

 

After eight seasons at Demopolis, Tom Causey stepped down following the 2014 season to accept the head football coaching position at Pelham high school. Causey led the Tigers to a 67-29 record including a playoff spot in each season.

His best team at Demopolis in 2009 finished 12-3 with and claimed the Class 5A State Championship with a 27-14 win over Russellville. Causey

After only one year out of coaching, Stacy Luker, returns to the sidelines as the head football coach at Demopolis.

In twelve seasons at Sweet Water, Coach Luker won five state championships while his teams went a combined 131-32 and 38-7 in the playoffs. Overall his coaching record stands at 171-66 in 20 years at the helm of Sweet Water, Thomasville and Washington County.
