2024 Head Football Coaching Changes

Chilton County
Marvin Morton parted ways with Chilton County after just two seasons at the helm with an 8-12 record and no playoff appearances. Both his squads finished with a 4-6 record. Coach Morton was also the head coach at Billingsley in 2018 with a 5-6 record. The Tigers have not won a playoff game since 2012 and only two since 1987. This will be the seventh different head football coach over the course of the last twenty seasons in Clanton. 2024 Season Eddie Wall has been named as the next head football coach at Chilton County as we enter the 2024 football season. Wall spent the last six seasons as the defensive coordinator at Leeds High School and this will be his first head coaching job. Wall also spent time at Clay-Chalkville High School as the defensive line coach prior to Leeds. He is a native of Oak Mountain where he played football.
