Bryan Moore leaves Hartselle after four successful seasons leading the football program to accept the head coaching job at Opelika. His record at Hartselle was 38-9 with four consecutive playoff appearances. Two of his teams in 2021 and 2022 finished the regular season undefeated winning a region title each season. 2024 Season Bert Newton takes over the head coaching duties from Bryan Moore after serving as defensive coordinator and associate head coach last year at Hartselle. He previously was at Vestavia Hills for one season as an assistant coach. Newton spent four years as the defensive coordinator for the Tigers. He built the Tigers defensive unit into a dominating force during his time at Hartselle. | |
