2024 Head Football Coaching Changes

Loachapoka


     Frederick Newton stepped down as the head football coach at Loachapoka after being elected to the Chambers County School Board in March. After more than 20 years as a coach and teacher he will try his hand at politics.


2024 Season 

     Branden Hall graduated from Auburn High School in 2000 and has a B.S. from Troy University in Sports and Fitness Management. He has been teaching at Auburn Junior High and Coached the defensive line at Auburn High the last three seasons. Previously he was an assistant coach at Russell County for two year and the DL coach at Central Phenix City for another six years (2013-2018).

Great Moments in Alabama High School Football History

The first night game played between high school teams in the state occurred on September 23, 1927 when Pike Road and Cloverdale met in the Cramton Bowl in Montgomery.
