Chad Eads departs Gardendale with a 50-33 record as the head football coach for the Rockets. His team won a region championship in 2021 before falling in the quarterfinals of the playoffs. Every team qualified for the post season except his last even though they finished with a 5-5 record. 2025 Season Eric Firestone served as the defensive coordinator at Gardendale the past seven seasons under Coach Eads and has been promoted to head football coach at the school. Firestone is a Hokes Bluff native and Hokes Bluff High graduate. He went to North Texas State where he walked on for the football team. | |
