1953 - Arkansas State moved to the NCAA, and played as a member of the College Division through 1972
1973 - The Indians were assigned to the newly created Division II. They remained in this classification for one year before being promoted to Division I.
2008 - The school changed its mascot from the Indians to the Red Wolves.
