Some updates from around the state:
The quest for another title is over for Fyffe. They fall to Saks 14-7.
Good Hope overcomes 21-0 deficit early and is tied at 28 with Madison Academy in the 4th...correction, Madison Academy now leads 35-28 as I'm writing this.
Handley trailed 17-7 but now leads Jackson 23-17 in the 3rd.
Several other upsets potentially in the making:
Andalusia leads UMS-Wright 20-14 in the 4th.
Highland Home leads Lanett 15-14 in the 4th.
Keith and Brantley are tied at 14 in the 4th.

I had Jackson and Brantley.. I missed many others though. Lost a lot of my finals qualifiers tonight. I love HS football. Never know whats going to happen. |

Highland Home upsets Lanett 15-14.
Also, Gardendale was down 44-21 to Clay-Chalkville to start the 4th. It's now 44-41. |

UMS-Wright was stopped at the Andalusia 1 on the final play of the game.
Andalusia wins 20-14.
