Might anyone have an idea of who holds the longest winning streak against a single opponent, whether active or inactive?

Wow! Yeah, I definitely wasn't expecting some of those. Thanks gentlemen for the replies! I'm going to spend some time in the off-season researching this. I find it fascinating.

Addison has had one nineteen year run on Meek and multiple ten plus year winning streaks.

I will put together a list for you. You will be surprised at some of them. It is not who you think would be on the list.
I will start the list here and update it as I find new teams. The list is for every team and not necessarily current streaks.
28 - Hale County - Akron 1951-1978
26 - Keith - RC Hatch 1981-2017
26 - Tuscaloosa - Holt 1943-1968
25 - Maplesville - Thorsby 1977-2002
24 - Eufaula - Bullock County 1945-1999
24 - McAdory - Brookwood 1991-2022
24 - Marengo - John Essex 1980-2003
22 - Murphy - Baker 1990-2012
22 - Hazlewood - Hatton 1974-1993
23 - Jeff Davis - Sidney Lanier 1975-1994
22 - Ardmore - Elkmont 1951-1973
21 - Oxford - Talladega 1982-2016
All these are over 20 game winning streak for one of the teams.

Keith has 26 wins against RC Hatch but there?s gaps throughout where some games wasn?t played. There?s also a potential 27 straight because at the beginning they played the first game and there?s two years with no scores before the 26 starts.
You?ll have to search the worst of worst programs or the best of bests. I started with RC Hatch because they haven?t had much success.
