As I sit here, the score is Mars Hill 21, Scottsboro 20 and the extra point is pending. But hasn't SCT clinched the region anyway?
As it stands, Guntersville will have wins over Ft Payne, Southside-Gadsden, and Albertville. Albertville is winless, so no points there.
SCT beat Ft Payne and North Jackson. North Jackson is 8-2. At BEST, Southside will go 7-3, so that would give it to SCT. ALPreps had Guntersville leading going in, but I don't think that was correct anyway.
SCT got the 2-pointer so it's 22-21, but even if MH scores to win, wouldn't it be Jacksonville @ Scottsboro, Center Point @ Boaz, and Guntersville @ Leeds?

Imagine how raw of a deal you get when you earn the right to host a first round game and you draw Guntersville (who I still believe is the best team in that region). |
