Someone brought to my attention the possibility that Coach Waldon Tucker was the head football coach at Demopolis Academy in 1973. We have always shown him getting his first head coaching job at the school in 1974. I thought this was correct from research done over ten years ago.
Well, it got me to do more digging and I found out he was the head coach at Demopolis Academy in 1973 so that raises his win total by four victories to 316.
It just goes to show that we still are likely missing things. But I am always ready to listen to anyone who questions our records. It is a lot easier now with so many more newspapers online.

David, he served as an assistant under Coach Nolan Atkins at Sweet Water during the 1972-73 school year.
