Which 1st year head coach had the more impressive season?
For me I have to go with Jake Ganus at Moody. Amazing 1 year turnaround. I don't know if he can maintain it though.

(this is my first topic post so if i do something wrong please let me know)

2019, 2020, 2021, and 2022 AHSAA State Champion.

Are we talking the best 1st year coach for this year or over the course of the ahsaa history?

Welcome aboard!

Probably not the best but deserving of a mention is Chris Stephenson at Sardis. Didn't take over til June and improved Sardis by 3 wins with a younger roster. Year 2 is going to be fun to watch with this region.

I?m going Patrick Malone @ Deshler from 3-7 last year to 12-1 in his 1st year.
