Reginald Melton has taken over the head football coaching duties from Rodney Dollar at Headland. He actually was the coach of record for last Friday night's loss to Andalusia and will finish out the season as interim head coach.

It seems like Coach Dollar has had to do this before. If memory serves he's had some serious health issues in the past. Best of luck to the Pirates. This can't be easy on those players.

From EA's Facebook:
"We regret to inform our Escambia Academy family that Coach Sims has declined our offer as Athletic Director and Head Football Coach. We wish Coach Sims the best in his future endeavors. The EA Board of Directors is actively seeking a replacement AD and Head Football Coach. Workouts will be moved to 4:00 in the afternoon. This week there will only be afternoon workouts. Any questions or concerns can be emailed to HR@eacougar.com."
