Since I suck at this, I?m using some rudimentary math this week: Win%, AVG O, AVG D, AVG Diff. 4/4 or 3/4 is auto-winner.
Jackson Olin vs Woodlawn - Jackson-Olin (3/4) Better record, O, Diff
Tanner vs Decatur Heritage - Tanner (4/4)
Fairview vs Priceville - Fairview (3/4) Better record, O, Diff
Rogers vs Colbert Heights - Colbert Heights (4/4)
Leroy vs Southern Choctaw - Southern Choctaw (2/3) Better D & Diff, but if you watch even a little video, it doesn't look like SC has the speed to keep up with Leroy
Good Hope vs Hamilton - Good Hope (2/3) Better D & Diff. Common opponents say Good Hope's Defense will be the difference maker.
North Jackson vs Plainview - Plainview (4/4)
Hueytown vs Mcadory - Mcadory (4/4)
Mary Montgomery vs Fairhope - Mary Montgomery (3/4) better record, O, Diff
Moody vs Leeds- Leeds (2/3) Same record, better O & Diff, but Leeds lost to a team Moody beat 55-0.

| I just created an account but I have been following this website for a couple of years. I was at Hamilton last night for Good Hope vs. Hamilton. One of the best high school football games I have ever seen. Hamilton stopped them inside the 10 twice. With Holloway at QB, Hamilton is a real threat to anyone on any given night. |

If they win the region and that is a big if, Fayette County is a good team, then unfortunately they matchup against R6 in the first round and could end up facing Hokes Bluff, Ashville or Oneonta. And second place will likely host Cherokee County or Alexandria. I am not saying Hamilton can't win those games, but those are some tough teams.

Friday will tell me a lot about Fayette with them traveling to Good Hope. I agree that the R6 crossover is tough and it might be the toughest in 4A. |
