Hey everyone! My dad and I have enjoyed using this site for years and I finally decided to join the forum. I studied statistics in college and have worked on a project where I can expand out playoff seeding scenarios with a few weeks left in the season. Apologies for the small fonts but it's the only I've found so far to make everything fit. Still a work in progress. I also haven't implemented tie breakers yet, but hopefully this could be of use to someone or at least interesting!

Example - 5A Region 3
https://billyfryer.com/visualizations/al-hs-fb-scenario-trees-2025-october-17/

To read each of the trees, start at the very top where a game is listed. Each game has 2 branches - one for each of the teams and labeled so you can see it. From there, you arrive at another game of that matters in terms of seeding until you reach the bottom where you would find out what seed those teams would be. For example, in the Demopolis tree at the top of the page, Following the left path is saying if Demopolis beats Northside. At the next game, following the left path means Demopolis beats Jemison which leads us to the conclusion that Demopolis would be the 1 seed in the region.

Let me know your thoughts!

I need to reach out and get a copy of this year's data. That's the only thing slowing me down! Will likely make a thread here and share all of the trees for every classification and region once I do so!
