I just saw that the Dadeville-Valley game was cancelled.
I really wish that the AHSAA would make this week a region week. There are too many teams with an open week or canceling games to rest for the playoffs.
I kind of agree. I'm good with the 11-week schedule we currently have so you can have an off week still, but maybe make two non-region dates in the middle of the season, or three to start instead of 2. Then odd-team regions can figure out their off dates differently if they want.

In fairness some teams took their bye before the their biggest game this year. So they don't have a bye last regular season week.
Some teams played straight through without a bye week.Now they are being rewarded with an off week before the playoffs.
