Based purely on top ten teams in the respective side (i.e. North / South) and section (i.e. Top / Bottom) of the bracket, who has the hardest road to the Semis? It looks like 4A North is the most difficult.

What are your thoughts?

6A South - Bottom
#2 - Saraland
#7 - Pike Road
#8 - Spain Park
Tough draw, but I don't think Pike or Park is close to Saraland.

5A South - Top
#2 - Vigor
#5 - Central Clay
#6 - Northside
Any one of those three could win.

5A North - Top
#4 - Fairview
#7 - St. Clair
#9 - Ramsay
Another where I could see any of the three winning.

4A North - Top
#3 - West Morgan
#5 - Plainview
#7 - Alexandria
#10 - Good Hope
Brutal draw for all involved.

4A North - Bottom
#4 - Anniston
#6 - Hamilton
#8 - Deshler
#9 - Madison Academy
Even worse than above, IMO. I could see MA upsetting Anniston, and Deshler would be undefeated if not for West Morgan.

3A North - Top
#1 - Mars Hill
#4 - Geraldine
#10 - Westbrook Christian
Included strictly because there are 3 teams in the top ten. Mars Hill cake-walks to the semi-finals.

3A North - Bottom
#2 - Piedmont
#7 - Fyffe
#8 - Gordo
Imagine you're Piedmont. You go undefeated. Score 500 points on the year. And you're rewarded with a round 2 game against Fyffe?! Oof.

2A South - Top
#1 - Luverne
#5 - Lanett
#6 - Ariton
Moreso a tough draw for Lanett & Ariton, but three teams nonetheless.

2A North - Bottom
#2 - Coosa Christian
#4 - Pleasant Valley
#9 - Tuscaloosa Acad
Same as Luverne...the other two must battle before getting to the final boss of their bracket.

1A North - Top
#6 - Addison
#7 - Appalachian
#8 - Winterboro
Brutal draw for all involved.

1A North - Bottom
#1 - Wadley
#5 - Hubbertville
#10 - Hackleburg
Included by default. Wadley will have no issues getting to the semi-finals.

NOTE:
4A South - Bottom
#1 St. Michael faces no other top ten opponents until the Semi-Finals.

5A South - Bottom
#1 Williamson faces no other top ten opponents until the Semi-Finals.

I will disagree on one point. I do not think Mars Hill cakewalks the top of the North bracket. Geraldine is a very solid team and I wouldn't dismiss Westbrook so easily.

6A bottom part of the south bracket is pretty tough

Pike Road
Saraland
Spain Park

6A top or the North bracket is pretty tough

Muscle Shoals
Parker
Mountain Brook
Ft Payne

5A north part of the south bracket is probably toughest I see

Northside
Central Clay
Vigor
Andalusia
UMS Wright

bottom part of the bracket in the North are the most competitive games IMO where any of the 8 teams could win first round

Corner at Moody
Priceville at Guntersville
Leeds at Briarwood
Boaz at Russellville

4A the whole North side of the bracket is tough
Absolutely brutal.

West Morgan
Good Hope
Plainview
Alexandria
Anniston
Hamilton
Madison Academy
Deshler
Cherokee County
Hatton
Fayette County
North Jackson
Ashville

No where to hide in the North

1A south is also tough

Leroy
Maplesville
McKenzie
Mcntosh
Linden
Millry
Southern Choctaw

I've seen Geraldine and they are a good team but they don't have anything for Mars Hill.

Go Eagles!
