4a 6 will come down to wins of defeated non region opponents. Oneonta easily wins that.
1.) oneonta 2.) good hope (h2h over etowah) 3.) etowah 4.) Dora |

3a 5 won?t be resolved until next week.
If Piedmont beats Alexandria they will have their defeated non region opponents with the most wins and it will be
Piedmont Saks Ohatchee
If they don?t then saks will have the most and it will be
Saks Ohatchee Piedmont. |

3a7 should come down to tie breaker N since the teams don't play an equal number of games. And that's total wins of defeated opponents.
Fyffe stands at 29 could be as high as 37 after next week Sylvania is at 23 could be as high as 33 after next week Geraldine is at 19 could be as high as 25 after next week |

2A 5 is as follows:
1.) Midfield 2.) Aliceville (by virtue of beating the other two they are tied with Sulligent & Lamar County) 3.) Lamar Co (H2H over Sulligent) 4.) Sulligent |

2A 2 is like the Fyffe region. It can't be satisfied by any in-region tiebreakers and they don't play the same amount of games so it goes to overall wins of all defeated opponents.
Aritons total is 34, could be as high as 39 after next week. Elba is at 36, could be as high as 40 next week. Long is at 25, could be as high as 34 next week. |

4A Region 5 will go to defeated non region opponents wins to resolve the fourth spot
Hamilton currently has 7, could have as much as 11 next week Haleyville has 0, will finish with 0 Oak Grove has 0, could finish with as much as 2.
Thus Hamilton will be in the 4th spot for this region. |

5A 4 should go to tie breaker N as some of the others because the teams do not play an equal number of games.
Right now Clays defeated opponents have 19 wins Sylacaugas have 24 Tallassees have 25
Obviously potential for all teams to rack up more next week. Clay has Handley, so if Clay beats them, that's 7 more added to their total. |

Just to be clear when I am adding up the numbers, I am adding them in the spirit of the rule and adding all wins since that is the way it is written but to really figure it out you don't have to include a teams win total that all three tied teams have beaten because it just cancels each other out. |

For instance, I could just as easily say Tallassees defeated opponents have 12 wins (Central Clay & Reeltown) with a potential for 6 more (Clay and Reeltown winning next week and then getting 4 for beating Carroll). No need to really count Elmore County, Beauregard, Holtville or Talladega since all teams beat them and the wins would go to all.
It may be easier to understand if done that way.
Taking that into consideration, Clay is at 10, with 1 guaranteed next week because Ben Russell and Sylacauga play next week and both were beaten by Clay. and another potential 8 (1 if Chilton County wins and 7 if they beat Handley).
Sylacauga has 15 (Lincoln, Tallassee, Childersburg) and potential for 4 more (win by Tallassee, win by Childersburg and beating Ben Russell will give them 2). |

I threw together a page to help with the tiebreakers as I understand them.
Check this out and see if it helps. It is something I have used the past few years and just thought I would share it this year.
I just need to make sure I am applying the correct rule in each case.

I am working on a spreadsheet but there is nowhere to upload it. But through doing the spreadsheet, I have determined Fyffe has won their region as they mathematically can't be caught which would put the region
Fyffe Sylvania Geraldine |

I overlooked Haleyvilles win over Phil Campbell so I am redoing that region. |

Sylacauga Lincoln will stay at 6 (Open) Tallassee at 6 (Carroll, likely win) Childersburg at 3 (Fayetteville, possible win) Elmore County at 0 (Jemison, possible win) Beauregard at 3 (Holt, likely win) Talladega at 1 (they're not beating Shelby County) Holtville at 5 (Reeltown, possible win) Ben Russell at 2
TOTAL: 24
My prediction: 31 (Tallassee, Childersburg, Elmore, Beauregard, Holtville all win and Sylacauga beats Ben Russell)
Clay Central Clanton at 2 (Marbury, likely loss) Ben Russell at 2 (Sylacauga, likely loss) Sylacauga at 7 (Ben Russell, likely win) Elmore County at 0 (Jemison, likely win) Beauregard at 3 (Holt, likely win) Talladega at 1 (Shelby Co, likely loss) Holtville at 5 (Reeltown, possible win) Handley at 7 (toss up)
TOTAL: 20
My prediction: 31 (Sylacauga, Elmore, Beauregard, Holtville all win and Clay beats Handley)
Tallassee Reeltown at 5 (Holtville, possible loss) Elmore County at 0 (Jemison, likely win) Beaureagard at 3 (Holt, likely win) Talladega at 1 (Shelby Co, likely loss) Holtville at 5 (Reeltown, possible win) Clay Central at 7 (Handley, toss up) Carroll at 4 (likely win)
Total: 21
My prediction: 29 (Elmore, Beauregard, Holtville, Clay Central all win and they beat Carroll)
If everything plays out the way I think, then Sylacauga and Clay tie at 31 overall points and since 2 of the 3 teams stand out in the tiebreaker it goes head to head which means Clay would win and Sylacauga gets 2 and Tallassee 3.
But Clay could easily lose to Handley, but they rarely lose to Handley even though the games are ALWAYS close it seems. If Handley could defeat Clay, then Sylacauga will more than likely win this region and Tallassee would get 2 and Clay goes to 3. |

6A Region 5 Tiebreaker L (defeated non region opponents)
HOMEWOOD Hillcrest at 7 (Demopolis, possible win) Vestavia at 3 (Shades Valley, toss up) Pelham at 6 (I think they beat Pelham)
TOTAL: 10
Possible: I could see 7 more at least (Hillcrest winning and they beat Pelham to end up with Vestavia more than likely winning too to give them 8 more to end up with 18)
CHELSEA Pelham at 6 (Homewood, possible loss) Calera at 6 (I think they lose to Calera)
TOTAL: 6
Possible: I think Chelsea is locked in at 6 but you never know.
SHADES VALLEY No non region wins and even if they beat Vestavia that would only give them 3.
TOTAL: 0
Possible: 3 max.
If Homewood wins their game, this region is decided with Homewood getting 3, then Chelsea 4 since they beat SV head to head. Chelsea needs Homewood to lose, Chelsea defeats Calera and then that would eliminated Homewood altogether as Chelsea would get 3, Shades Valley would then get 4 due to their head to head over Homewood.
Shades Valley needs Homewood to lose and Chelsea to win so Chelsea would win out on points, then SV and Homewood would settle their tie for 4th head to head in which SV won so SV would the spot then. If Homewood wins, they eliminate SV for a playoff spot. |

6A Region 6 Tiebreaker L
JACKSON OLIN Woodlawn at 1 (Minor, likely loss) Calera at 6 (Chelsea, possible win) Fairfield at 6 (Central Tuscaloosa, likely win) Wenonah at 1 (likely win)
TOTAL: 13
Possible: It's possible they score 3 more points.
PINSON VALLEY Shades Valley at 3 (Vestavia, possible loss) Ramsay at 5 (OPEN) Lee-Montgomery at 6
TOTAL: 8
Possible: Who knows with the Lee game but I think PV is stuck at 8 for good but can do no better 15
GARDENDALE Sparkman at 4 (Muscle Shoals, likely loss) Bessemer City at 0 (Jasper, likely loss) Shades Valley at 3 (Vestavia, possible loss) Florence at 5 (likely loss)
TOTAL: 7
Possible: I think Gardendale loses and they don't get any points from their opponents.
PV needs a win and for Jackson Olin and their opponents to lose. JO is going to win barring a miracle so they probably gain 2 points at the least to give them 15. Pinson Valley can do no better than 15 period. Since JO beat PV head to head it's looking more likely that JO is going to win this tiebreaker. It's hard for me to believe JO would lose to a 1-win Wenonah and Fairfield would lose to Central-Tuscaloosa. Either way if JO scores at least 2 points somehow this week this tiebreaker is over and JO gets the 2 seed, PV gets the 3 and Gardendale 4.
Now if the miracle does happen and PV can get the 2nd spot, then this would boost Gardendale to 3 and JO would fall to 4th.
Either way Pinson Valley is in win only mode, if they lose then they have no shot at 2nd place and guarantees JO wins the 2 spot if PV does in fact lose.
It's almost to the point you can say Jackson-Olin will win the 2 seed, Pinson is going to get the 3 due to their head to head over Gardendale and the Rockets ending up 4th. |

I did a spreadsheet, but nowhere to upload it here, but I sent it to David. I know I had one mistake on it that I realized Monday morning so I have corrected it and will be following the games closely this weekend and try to have quick results in. |
