I added maps to the schools and the stadiums on each teams page. It is still a work in progress because there are a few teams that I just don't know where the stadium is located. I tried to get all the ones I knew but I am sure there are some that are incorrect.

If you see something that is not right just let me know and I can correct it. It was a chore to find some of the stadiums because they just don't have addresses like a school does. You will notice that when looking at the photos of the stadiums where it is not in the photo very well or off in the corner of the photo.

I am still working on the map links to get them better. What we have may help visitors find a school or stadium. Like I said it is a work in progress that will get better over time.

Auburn High's Duck Samford Stadium (newly expanded to 8,310) is not at the school, but at lat/lon: 32.610161,-85.446918.

I hope that's the easiest way for you to get the location.

Thanks Lissoy. That is what I need. Either that or the address. You know I mostly used addresses but if I get the latitude and longitude for the stadiums they would look better.

thanks

Good job on the maps. They will help me find a few of the away games this year.

David:

I fear your Google maps have led you astray. The Randolph School varsity field is located at 4915 Garth Road Huntsville, AL 35802. It's all new this year, so there may not be a satellite photo. The helmets are a dark blue with a gray face mask. Hope this helps you with your databases.

I was wondering if you had compiled a database ranking the best concession food offerings, by team, in the state. I'm sure the competition is very tough.

Like I said, it is a work in progress. Everything we do is that way it seems because there is not anywhere to find all the information for every school in one location. I have to spend a ton of time searching for each thing we add.

I am going back through each school and better defining the stadiums and school locations. It will be much, much better once I get through with that process. It will take a few days of searching and editing.

I need to add the preliminary locations to even see which ones worked and to fine tune everything, but we will get it done.

Hey, Raider. I was right about your school affiliation. We don't have much info on the Raiders so keep us informed and remember I have to keep up with over 400 teams so there is no way I can know everything about every school. My wife figured out the other day that I am not perfect. Fooled her for 30 years.

David, tomorrow I'll get my map and look up the street names for several stadiums I know of in the surrounding areas up here that are not next to their respective schools, such as Hewitt, Pleasant Grove and others.

One thing I did notice going through a few of them, it seems the school location map has picked up some school's old locations from 15 or so years ago. Minor & Carver show their old locations. Jackson-Olin shows the location of old Ensley High. I'll look up what I can help with.

Also Winston County is not located correctly per the map. The stadium is about a mile or two NNE from where it says it is.

I think the stadium is correct but the school was wrong. It is strange but on some of the schools it is difficult to get the map to find the school no matter what I enter. I will change it and I think I got it right but will need to upload the database for you to see the change later today.
