I think Meek has had a successful turnaround from where that program was for a long time?.

Think in 6a Hillcrest Tuscaloosa, Saraland, and Mountain Brooks coach are good candidates, who else should be considered?

There are several I like.

Jake Ganus at Moody would be near the top.
Will Pouncey at Highland Home
Eddie Brundidge at Houston Academy
Lucas Weatherford at Vincent
Houston Powell at Meek

Few, maybe a little more than a few, to consider,
Pat Prestridge Randolph Co
Charles Hammon Valley Head
Rico White Anniston
Jacob Kelley Cherokee Co
Jason Phillips Excel
Kevin Byrd Southeastern
Chris Foster Priceville
Lee Ozmint Arab
Jerry Hood Leeds

Ben Berguson Homewood
Bryan Moore Hartselle

2019: 0 wins.
2020: 1 wins (Powell's first season)
2021: 8 wins
2022: 9 wins

Begins/Ends with Meek for me. However, Arab is worth mentioning, too. Ozmint's done an excellent job there. Moore at Hartselle really could be a candidate every year: a rare talent, indeed.

All good picks. Here in the north I'd nominate Chris Foster of Priceville. Went 10-0 for the first time in school history despite strengthening the non region schedule. Priceville had won 4 games in 3 years before he showed up.
