Found this article in the Decatur Daily. Probably paywalled but the gist is that Tuscaloosa County coach Adam Winegarden is proposing to the AHSAA to split 7A into two divisions. Everyone in 7A qualifies for playoffs but there would be two divisions decided by enrollment with each having their own bracket. Proposed due to enrollment disparities which usually have Regions 2 and 3 trouncing Regions 1 and 4 every season.
