Powerhouse Sports https://www.facebook.com/powerhsports/ is reporting the AHSAA possibly has made a ruling that will require W.S. Neal in East Brewton to forfeit some games due to playing an ineligible player.
This could cause some shakeups in class 3A region 1 as well as the playoff seedings in class 4A region one.

according to powerhouse sports:
W.S. Neal will have to forfeit their win against Georgiana, and the player will not be allowed to play Friday in the Battle of Murder Creek.
However, he WILL be able to play in the playoffs next week. W.S Neal remains the 3 seed in Class 3A region 1.
Now, with a win over W.S. Neal, T.R. Miller could lock in the 2 seed in 4A Region 1 due to the nonregion tie breaker.
So WSN is now 6-3 instead of 7-2 and Georgiana's record improves. |

Thats what I seen too. It will have no effect on the playoff seeding for WSN.
Id like to know how an ineligible player then became eligible now. How was the player ineligible for the first game of the season but eligible for the rest of the season after and now playoffs? Any insight on what the issue was?

Powerhouse Sports has more on it on their FB page. all I know is kid played at a school last year and transferred to WSN this year. Former school (in same region as WSN) turned them in hoping to backdoor into playoffs.
