Central held UMS to under 70 yards and only two first downs and lost. Don't know that I can recall something like that in a long time.

I think the loss of Centrals RB was a huge GameChanger for the Vols.

But if those stats you gave are remotely close, that would be a first for me too.

UMS-Wright still has to travel though, correct? The AHSAA changed the rules a few years back to allow higher seeds with equal travel host, regardless of spot on the bracket. So because Headland also won, they host UMS correct?

I listened to the fourth quarter on my way home from work. Central ended up with just over 200 yards total so UMS played a heck of
a defensive game themselves. Central had one TD called back for a hold (the announcers didn't seem too upset when recapping it so it must have been a pretty fair call). I agree that losing the RB seems to have been a really big blow.

Heard the Vols had a costly fumble that led to UMS getting on the board. I?m originally from Randolph County, next county over from Clay. So I follow them a lot. Or at least until I moved to Wisconsin. :)

I'm a Clay County graduate myself (before the consolidation).

Piedmont v Fyffe in 2020 Semis. Fyffe had somewhere in the 60s total offense.

My Dad?s side of the family moved to Ashland in the 1830?s and still have some living on the same land today. We owned a lot from the Armory to Harkins Crossroads. If you know what family had the bus line briefly and ones that contracted to carry the US Mail from post office to post office you?ll know what my last name is
