Another round is officially in the books, most went as expect with a few not so much. Lets here your thoughts.

Shocked: A win was expected for Wadley but I dont think anyone in the state expected them to hang up 81 points. Three of those touchdowns came off defense ( 2 pick sixs & a scoop and score). Wadley is still my favorite out of the North to be in the finals.

Shocked: Piedmont really found their rhythm late in the season and nearly took down LC. They definitely ended their season better than expected.

Disappointed: My Randolph County Tigers fell. Its always a disappointment when your home team falls. The disappointment for me was I was expecting it to be a little bit tighter of a game.

More: KJ Jackson of Saint James has a great arm and accuracy. He dropped several dimes last night right in the bread basket.

More: Locust Fork continues to dominate offensively as they hung over another half a hundred last night. I think this weeks game against the Big Red Machine will stop their offense in their tracks.

Feels like Locust Fork is still flying under the radar. Do they have a shot a Fyffe?

I don't think they've been flying under the radar. I do think their schedule is probably one of the easiest in the entire state and havent been battle tested.

It was a hard fought loss for Randolph County, those turnovers really hurt. The pair of KJ Jackson vs Clint Houser is a tough stop for any defense.

I'm a bit surprised at Westminster knocking off Deshler. They lost to Lee early in the year and blown off the field by Madison Academy late. Also I know the guys talked about it on the podcast but that region had done quite poorly in non region matchups all year.

Brooks vs. Westminster may be 80 to 70. Geraldine vs. Lauderdale Co may be 7 to 6. Interesting juxtaposition.

Congratulations to Pisgah. It's the first time in Pisgah football history that the Eagles have advanced to the quarterfinals in consecutive seasons.

I watched this game live. If they're still under the radar they shouldn't be. They put up 54 on a good Sulligent defense and Imbry and Boatright are as advertised. Their speed is going to give Fyffe trouble.

Should be a tight game. Fyffe's physicality over 4 quarters usually wears down other teams.
