How does the 3 way tie work out between Beulah, Lee Scott, and Dadeville work out? Each team is 3-3 in region play. Beulah beat dadeville, dadeville beat Lee Scott and Lee Scott beat Beulah. So, how is the 3 and 4 seed of the region decided? |

It will come down to next week and out of region opponents wins. Right now Beulah has 12 but could end up with 20. Dadeville has 0 could get 4. Lee Scott has 10 could get 18. It?s basically third between Lee Scott and Beulah. Then fourth will be decided by the head to head between dadeville and whoever winds up with the least non region opponents victories between Lee Scott and Beulah.

Based on Lee-Scotts social media, they posted they're in the playoffs. So I'm assuming it's Beulah and Lee-Scott that are in the playoffs. Which is third and forth, I'm not sure.

They are saying that because even if they lose the non region defeated opponents wins they have the head to head over dadeville.
It will either be. 3. Lee Scott 4. Dadeville or. 3 Beulah 4. Lee Scott. It won?t be determined until next week

You?re right. I was looking at Beulah?s schedule by accident. So it?s the same just reversed. Beulah is in regardless. It?s either
3. Beulah. 4 Dadeville
Or
3 Lee Scott. 4 Beulah.

LSA only path to playoffs is to beat Reeltown and hope Beulah loses to Autauga Academy.

And I said I was looking at the wrong schedule so I corrected it. Those are your scenarios. I can?t explain it any further.

While we're here, how are the potential 4-seed's pass defenses? Asking for a friend ... |

It?s fine. I don?t get it though because Opelika Auburn News says Lee Scott is in. So I?m not sure what they?re seeing different. I?ll have to look over it again but Alpreps has the same interpretation that I do.

Not real sure. I?m from the general are so I keep up with the region, but haven?t really watched much. |

It doesn't seem to me that comparing the wins of non region opponents is really a good tie breaker for 3 or more teams. One team can get punished for playing but losing to a quality non region opponent. Maybe comparing score differential in the head to head matchups would be better. |

Well at least they changed the rule to say ?in class, above class and two classes below?. There used to be no classes below modifier. You could be 6a and beat a good 1a team and get credit for those as well.

Okay. Lee-Scott has a lot needing to happen for them to get in. ALPREPS updated today.
Glenwood and Randolph County are set. There is a three-way tie with Beulah/Lee-Scott/Dadeville that will go to non-region games. The current standings are:
Beulah ? 13 currently, with a game remaining (+8)
Lee-Scott ? 10 currently, with a game remaining (+8)
Dadeville ? 0 currently, with a game remaining (+6)
Dadeville can?t win the tiebreaker. The only way Lee-Scott can win this tiebreaker is if they beat Reeltown and Beulah loses to Autauga Academy.
If Beulah wins the tiebreaker, they are third and Dadeville is fourth.
If Lee-Scott wins the tiebreaker, they are third and Beulah is fourth.

Maybe some math whiz could come up with a weighted formula that give a team credit for playing and beating quality teams and it also would give credit for playing a team in a higher classification.quote: Originally posted by TheMUBM

That's practically the tiebreaker points from non region games. Schedule better teams and beat them and they still win more games then that equals more points. Schedule a scrub and beat them and they go winless or get a single win then that's zero to 1 points.

It?s settled. Beulah lost their game last night against Autauga Acd. That means Lee-Scott has to beat Reeltown tonight to get in. Beulah is in regardless. The Lee-Scott/Reeltown game holds Dadeville?s fate.
