The dates listed should be
1994 9/24/1994 (Sat) @ Huntsville
1993 9/24/1993 (Fri) vs. Huntsville
There were a combination of things leading up to the game being moved from Friday to Saturday in 1994. There had been talks during the week to postpone the game or move it due to new sod at Joe Davis Stadium that had not taken root yet. The rain on Friday probably didn't help officials feel any better.
With the rain and wet new sod, the field got torn up on Saturday anyway. |
