            Sidle was named Most Valuable Player on All-City team, made All-State, All-Southern and All-America; Also basketball star and one of finest hurdlers in state; Passed for more than 1,000 yards as junior, had total yardage of 1500 yards senior year. In 1960, completed 62 of 134 passes for 884 yards, gained 541 yards on 108 trips; Also did teams punting; Fine defensive player.
