            Gann was All-Conference for two years, senior year named All-State; honorable mention All-America; Most Valuable in conference; best back on team; best all-around in school; Also played basketball and baseball; Gained 1,206 yards for 7.5 rushing average, scored 13 touchdowns; recovered three fumbles and intercepted four passes -- two for touchdowns.
