 High School Bio:

            Haleyville High Played Tackle and Guard. Specialized in Punting. In 1960 made 139 tackles and in 1961 made 128. Three years varsity football and was Captain of team in 196l. He was named All-Conference, 2 years; All-State, 1961; Honorable Mention All-American, 1961. The Team voted him Best Defensive player in 1960 and Most Valuable player in 1961. Also participated in basketball, baseball and track.




Great Moments in Alabama High School Football History

From 1947 until his retirement in 1992 Glenn Daniel's teams won 302 games at Pine Hill and Luverne. He was the winningest coach in state history until 2010.
