 High School Bio:

            Thorntons specialty was pass receiving. His records show 49 passes received for a total of 900 yards gained and 9 touchdowns. He was selected the Best Offensive Lineman, Best Scholar Athlete in football. He was captain of his basketball team and was chosen as the Most Valuable Player. He also enjoys participating in track. He played varsity football for two years.




Great Moments in Alabama High School Football History

The Tuscaloosa Black Bears were considered one of the best programs in the nation from 1925-1931. Their record over that span was an amazing 61-0-3.
