 High School Bio:

            Beck played left halfback position for Oakman High School, and lettered 4 years in football. The punt return and kickoff return are his specialties but also to his credit are yards gained rushing - 1,563; pass receiving - 459 yards or 11.3 yards per carry; passing from halfback position - 4 completed out of 6 attempts; and 23 touchdowns in 9 games. Birmingham Post- Herald honored him in 1962 with their award as All State, Most Valuable Back.

Demopolis scored a record 761 points during the 2004 season. The Tigers finished the season 15-0.
