 High School Bio:

            Hayneville High School quarterback played four years of varsity football, co-captain one season and captain as a senior - specialties were passing PAT holding and kicking, and punt return Athletic honors include Birmingham News Alternate First Team Back, All State, Birmingham Post Heralds Honorable Mention, All-Conference Quarterback. He was voted Hayneville Highs Outstanding Athlete of 1964.
