Frisco City High School Quarterback specialized in running, passing, and also played defensive halfback and safety positions. Grid statistics showed that in his senior year he gained 977 yards rushing, 1,106 passing and completed 68 of 115 passes for 12 touchdowns. Athletic honors included All-Conference, All-District, and All-State football which earned him a scholarship to attend the University of Mississippi. He also has received many athletic honors in baseball and basketball.
