 High School Bio:

            Carter played 3 years varsity football and served as co-captain of his squad. Punting was his specialty. Athletic honors include All-West Alabama Conference Guard, and Post and News All-State Guard. He received All-American Honorable Mention.





Great Moments in Alabama High School Football History

The first night game played between high school teams in the state occurred on September 23, 1927 when Pike Road and Cloverdale met in the Cramton Bowl in Montgomery.
