 High School Bio:

            Lanett High School fullback played three years of varsity football and statistics showed he had an average of 5.2 yards per carry his senior year for total of 1,030 yards gained. Also participated in track and basketball. Athletic honors included All-Conference All-State, Honorable Mention All-American by Scholastic Coach.




Great Moments in Alabama High School Football History

In 1969 the two point conversion was adopted for play following a touchdown. Until that time all conversions were worth one point.
